The Wine Route | Gravel in Rioja Alavesa (March 27–29)
We're going back to where we were happy: Rioja Alavesa.
We love returning to places where we were happy, and this year we want to go back to La Rioja Alavesa to enjoy two days of gravel riding among vineyards and wineries. A weekend to experience wine culture, gastronomy, and gravel riding in equal measure in one of the most perfect settings for riding.
The Wine Route is a 3-day/2-night trip based in Laguardia , combining gravel routes with visits to three iconic wineries in the area.
Friday 27
Arrival in Laguardia and pintxo dinner in the city centre.
Saturday 28
75km gravel route with a stop at the Gómez Cruzado winery (Haro) for a visit and tasting .
The tour ends in Eguren Ugarte , where we will enjoy a typical meal and a visit to its underground cellars .
Sunday 29
78 km gravel route with a stop in Navarrete to visit Bodega Montecillo .
