  • Factor : Maximum manufacturing requirements, with ultralight and aerodynamic frames for road or gravel.

Key points

Between sizes? How to decide

Smaller : better for a sporty posture, lighter and more manageable; you'll need a bit more power.

Larger : more stable at high speed and comfortable at the base; you may need a shorter stem or less handlebar reach.

Road vs. Gravel: Specific Adjustments

Saddle-handlebar drop: road 6–10 cm if you're looking for aero; endurance 2–6 cm; gravel 0–4 cm.

Tire pressure : lower on gravel for grip and comfort; on the road, 28–32 mm at moderate pressures improves actual speed on rough asphalt.

Chainstay length and steering angle : longer and more open gravel = more stability; more responsive road.

Checklist before buying

  1. Measure height and inseam.
  2. Use the initial size chart (road/gravel).
  3. Check stack/reach with your desired posture.
  4. Check standover and margin for spacers.
  5. Adjustment plan: stem, handlebars and saddle that are right for you.
